Well this was to be my second trip out with the Notts LRC to the annual Autokana Day at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham and thankfully this time the sun was up in a clear blue sky on my drive in.
This was a bit of a change on last years rather damp experience of standing well mostly sitting in the back of my Series 109 drinking copious amounts of tea and laughing through the cold with some newly made friends. Still not to worry because what's in the past is best left there and this year saw most of us looking for shade from the beating sun! Well I say most of us because there were the few that love to catch a few rays so they kept moving their canvas fold away camping chairs around our little area trying to get as much vitamin D as possible even if it meant sitting in the isles as the public walked past them smiling! I only managed to grab a few pictures of the day (I was too busy hiding in the shade of the rather large trees that lined the road edge) but the clubs turnout was excellent with Land Rovers of all ages lining our stretch of the show...

These are some great photos, I really liked the neon green Land Rover, it looks great! I was once in a Jeep club with a friend from my favorite mobile auto detailing mesa and we had a lot of fun going to shows and even off roading events!
